NEOS Investments has launched the NEOS Silver High Income ETF (SLVI), an actively managed fund combining silver exposure with an options strategy targeting high monthly income. The fund gains exposure through physically backed silver ETPs, primarily held through a Cayman Islands subsidiary, and through purchased calls and sold puts that seek to replicate silver ETP price movements. It then sells call options to generate premiums, exchanging some potential upside for income while retaining exposure to silver price declines. Written calls generally expire in approximately one month, and the fund expects to use mainly FLEX options with customizable terms. U.S. Treasury collateral provides additional income. SLVI does not hold silver directly and is non-diversified, with its investments concentrated in silver exposure. NEOS uses a proprietary systematic model to manage the options positions.
