iShares Moves Two U.S. Equity ETFs From Morningstar to MSCI

BlackRock has changed the benchmarks, names and tickers of two iShares U.S. equity ETFs. The iShares Morningstar Small-Cap ETF (ISCB) is now the iShares MSCI USA Small-Cap ETF (MSML), tracking the MSCI USA Small Cap Index, while the iShares Morningstar U.S. Equity ETF (ILCB) is now the iShares MSCI USA ETF (MLRG), tracking the MSCI USA Index. The small-cap benchmark covers roughly 14% of U.S. free float-adjusted market capitalization and held about 1,634 constituents as of August 31, while the MSCI USA Index covers roughly 85% through about 525 large- and mid-cap stocks. The changes took effect October 5, 2026.
