Empire Life Expands Segregated Fund Lineup With New ETF-Based Strategies

Empire Life has expanded its Canadian segregated fund lineup with six new Guaranteed Investment Funds (GIFs) and 10 additions to its Class Plus 3.0 retirement income program. The new funds include the Vanguard All-Equity ETF Portfolio GIF, offering diversified global equity exposure through low-cost index investing, and the Canadian High Dividend Yield Index ETF GIF, alongside strategies managed by Fidelity and Dynamic. The additions cover global equities, Canadian dividends, and options-based income strategies. Class Plus 3.0 also introduces third-party investment managers for the first time, expanding its guaranteed lifetime income offering. Separately, Empire Life revised the risk classifications of several existing funds and renamed its Concentric CI Global Equity GIF to Concentric CI Global Equity Growth GIF.
