Blueprint Files QDEX ETF With a Dynamic Nasdaq-100 Downside Hedge

Blueprint Fund Management has filed for the Nations TailDex-Hedged Nasdaq-100 ETF (QDEX), an actively managed ETF combining Nasdaq-100 exposure with a dynamic put-options hedge. At least 80% of assets would provide exposure to the Nasdaq-100 through stocks, ETFs or derivatives. The hedge is designed to help mitigate significant market declines using a ladder of longer-dated puts, generally struck near 85% of the index level, partly financed by shorter-dated puts around 95%. The fund expects to budget roughly 6% of net assets annually for option premiums, increasing or reducing protection based on Nations Nasdaq-100 30-Day TailDex signals. Unlike fixed-period defined outcome ETFs, QDEX would continuously adjust its hedge and may monetize gains when volatility or option values reach specified thresholds
