Korea Exchange Opens Extended Trading, ETFs Remain Excluded
The Korea Exchange has launched its new after-hours market, extending real-time trading from 4 p.m.
ASX and Bloomberg have launched Australia’s first exchange-traded Bond and Credit Index Futures, linked to the Bloomberg AusBond Composite and Credit indices, which benchmark more than A$60 billion in assets. Trading on ASX 24 and cash settled, the contracts give institutional investors, including ETF issuers and superannuation funds, a streamlined way to hedge risk, manage liquidity and adjust fixed income exposure without trading individual bonds. The launch expands ASX’s derivatives suite as global demand for fixed income index futures grows.
